Dr. Giampapa is a renowned cellular aging expert, surgeon, and clinical researcher. He is the chief medical officer and co-founder of CellHealth™ Institute. CellHealth represents Dr. Giampapa’s most advanced cellular health initiative and is based on his decades of research, clinical practice, and consultation for other biotechnology companies. He has practiced clinical age-management medicine for over 20 years and was the first board-certified anti-aging physician in the world.
Dr. Giampapa’s research is focused on stem cell technologies and their clinical applications to improve the cellular aging process in order to enhance health span and quality of life. As a result of his research, Dr. Giampapa has been awarded medical and intellectual property patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for developments involving unique cell culture delivery techniques, new drug delivery systems, stem cell reprogramming, DNA repair, and telomerase maintenance. His familiarity in advanced medical technology allowed him to lend his expertise to NASA on the design of a space shuttle robotic arm.
Dr. Giampapa is the author of six books on age management, including the first and only medical textbook on anti-aging medicine titled, The Principles and Practice of Anti-Aging Medicine for the Aesthetic Surgeon and Physician. He has also published work in numerous academic journals, including Journal of Anti-Aging Medicine, Journal of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, and Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery.
Dr. Giampapa is also a renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon operating out of Hackensack University Medical Center, New Jersey. He also uses his expertise philanthropically by performing reconstructive surgery on children with disfigurements.
He earned his M.D. degree from Mt. Sinai Medical School and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, he is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
